Dr. Angela G.P. Roberts, EdD, LPC CEO/Founder/Therapist of Exodus Counseling Services Inc Dr. Angela Roberts is a Licensed Professional Counselor and has worked in the field of mental health counseling for nearly 27 years.
 
Dr. Roberts received her Doctorate of Education degree in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University, Master of Science degree in Counseling Psychology from Radford University, and Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Hampton University. Dr. Roberts is a Certified Crisis Responder and a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She has conducted research on the prevalence of PTSD symptoms among Public Safety Professionals in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Dr. Roberts is compassionate about helping others towards mental wellness and spiritual growth. One of her favorite anonymous quotes is: “If you are more fortunate than others, build a longer table and not a taller fence”. In addition, she is inspired by the scripture: “I will give thanks and praise to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: Wonderful are Your works, and my soul knows it very well” Psalm 139:14.
